Mrs. Stacey Mortensen

Hello! My name is Stacey Mortensen and I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this school year.  This is my tenth year teaching in Council Rock, and my sixth year teaching at Holland Elementary School.  I love being a part of the Holland family!

I graduated from Temple University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education, and I am also certified in Middle School Science.  I earned my Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Special Education, with an Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement from Holy Family University.    

I got married last year to my amazing husband Brad.  I have two wonderful kids of my own, Ava (16), and Jake (9), and three stepchildren, McKenzie (19), Collin (17), and Ella (14).  Our dogs Russ and Amelia love having so many kids around to play with!  Some hobbies I enjoy are running, skiing, hiking, camping, going to the beach, riding my bike, doing yoga, and pretty much anything outdoors!

I truly feel so lucky to be your child's teacher this year.  I am passionate about teaching special education and will be one of your child's biggest advocates for learning.  I am looking forward to a great year with you and your child.

We have an amazing team in F-8 including our support staff: Mrs. M., Miss Megan, Ms. Kinczel, Miss Goldberger, and Miss Neary.  We have an exciting year planned full of opportunities for learning and growing!
