Social PRAGMATIC Language refers to SOCIAL SKILLS.  We use our social skills throughout our day. We engage in conversations, we interpret body language and facial expressions, we compromise, negotiate, and problem solve!

Characteristics: difficulty initiating, maintaining, and concluding conversations; remaining on topic; conversational turn-taking; difficulty with non-verbal communication skills, such as eye contact, personal space, and/or perspective taking (empathy & respect for others).
