2025 Summer Resources

Summer Resources

Children need a break in the summer, but it's a great idea to provide opportunities for them to maintain their skills during these months. Below you'll find a list of resources available to students to help them stay sharp in Reading and Math. These are activities that children may find to be very entertaining. I highly suggest that parents take time to view these and share them with their children.

Council Rock Summer Reading Incentive

The best way to keep children's reading strong over the summer is to read 20 minutes every day. Beginning June 19th, for every day that students read at least 20 minutes, they can record the number of minutes read in a box on this log. As children read, they will come to a reward that they can claim around the Council Rock Community! Remember to present both sheets of the log to get it signed/stamped, and then they can collect the treat they have earned.
